Communication Skills
Children learn to express their thoughts clearly, confidently and appropriately.
A typical WINGS session isn’t limited to worksheets and notebooks.
A WINGS session is built around doing. In any given class a child might deliver a one-minute spontaneous speech, read their favourite book, perform a character, solve a communication challenge, brainstorm in a group or present something on stage.
You might find children:
Because children remember experiences far longer than instructions.
Admissions are open. Ages 4–15 · two 90-minute sessions a week.
Children learn to express their thoughts clearly, confidently and appropriately.
From introducing themselves to addressing an audience, children gradually become comfortable speaking on stage and in groups.
We encourage children to develop a relationship with books while improving reading, understanding and expression.
Interesting words become meaningful only when children know how to use them. We focus on practical vocabulary and sentence formation.
Children learn to imagine, structure, narrate and present stories in their own unique style.
Activities are designed to help children overcome hesitation and participate without constantly fearing mistakes.
Children are encouraged to think beyond obvious answers, explore possibilities and develop their own ideas.
Sharing, listening, teamwork, empathy, conversations, friendships and appropriate social behaviour are incorporated naturally into sessions.
Children learn initiative, responsibility, decision-making, teamwork and how to confidently take the lead.
We introduce age-appropriate skills such as self-awareness, independence, resilience, problem-solving and emotional expression.
Children receive opportunities to speak, perform, present and participate in front of others.
Through interactive exercises and games, children practise following instructions, observing carefully and listening effectively.
Not sure which group fits? Tell us your child’s age and we’ll point you to the right one.
Every child walks into WINGS with a different personality.
We don’t expect every child to become the loudest person in the room.
We help every child become comfortable with their own voice.
Our approach is built around:
Would you like to see a session first? Trial sessions can be arranged.
Your child doesn’t need to become someone else.
They simply need the confidence to become more of who they already are.
